It was a lovely meal, but id rather of had just the plain sausages as there was very little difference from the wild boar ones.

I will only ever write 5* reviews where I feel they are deserved and this place is one of them! Me and my boyfriend usually just eat in the Premier Inn when we are staying over the night before a holiday, but I thought I’ll push the boat out and try somewhere near (and better).
I cannot fault this place whatsoever, staff are attentive and lovely and the food is *chefs kiss*. We got the garlic mushrooms and barbecue chicken strips for starters and for mains we both got the steak and ale pie with mash.
We were both very satisfied and will definitely be coming back. Also £41 for 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 drinks which I think is considerably cheap!

This is a really lovely pub, with a cosy ambience, great staff and good food. The chef specials are innovative and looked amazing. The steak and ale pie is huge! My burger had pulled pork and was very tasty. I wish I'd had the 'Special' trio of fish though. I so wanted the peach tart tatin for dessert but was too full! Visited with friends and had a fabulous evening. I will go again. Good parking. 10 minutes walk from the Runway Viewing Park and 9 minutes from the Premier Inns.

I would of liked to give the Romper pub a 5 star as it’s my favourite place to dine out.
Nice pub country atmosphere, lovely staff, I keep returning hoping that this time my food would be served hot , they always serve it barley warm, such a big let down, I keep returning and have even took to requesting it be hot as we keep having the same issue.
Sunday we visited, I had the pork roast dinner priced at around £13, it was Luke walm, the server offered to change it , he returned with my food nice and hot but with a cold Yorkshire pudding, he returned to ask if everything was ok, I politely explained that yes it was lovely and hot but my Yorkshire pudding was cold , he apologised I said it’s ok I have covered it with my warm gravy.
As I was eating a lady appeared and said I believe I had a complaint I am the manager she asked what was the problem, I told her I hadn’t complained I just asked for hot food now at this point I’m trying to eat my food why it’s hot not stop and explain , she debated that my Yorkshire pudding was cold as they bulk cook them in the morning and that’s just the temperature they come at.
Such a shame.

The place is lovely but the food not so good had a Turkey roast dinner the only thing on the plate was the turkey the rest leaves alot to be desired
